I am having a hard time decorating the nursery..we’ve ordered a brown/tan/pink bedding set and are going to paint the walls a neutral tan with pink accents around the room…goin to put hardwood flooring in the room with white trim as well-do you think we should go with white furniture to brighten up the room..or dark brown furniture to match the bedding?

White would brighten up the room and really stand out where the brown would blend in. White is the better choice.
I would say go with Brown furniture, it would blend in plus you dont need to clean it as frequently as you need to do with White. Second thing would be after passing some years white would turn offwhite which will not be the case with Brown. Plus if your baby want to have white furniture in future you can always paint that brown furniture to white.
Go for Brown.
I wouldn’t paint a baby room tan. It’s kind of depressing. Stick with white and add the color with furniture and furnishings. Let the bedding be the only brown. To begin babies see black and white the best so soft colors are difficult to focus on. The white and brown will be a good contrast with touches of pink.
I would go with dark brown furniture and keep the walls white.
definitely white, it will brighten up the room and give more of a girly feeling (sounds like girl room) if you have light colour paint then definitely light colour furniture and accessories
