Best place to purchase Crib & Dressers for nursery?
Sponsored Links

I am looking at a furniture set for the nursery to include crib, dresser/ chaning station and maybe a toybox, mid-priced.
I am located in Wisconsin.
Babies R’ Us pulled most of theirs for safety reasons…Walmart/Target do not have the dresser set, and Baby USA is extremly expensive at like 600/piece.. Any other ideas?

I would definitely try craigslist. My sister got a beautiful bedroom set from someone looking to get rid of their’s because they were moving. It was like $1000 furniture that she got for around $200. Good luck! BTW…we got our’s at Walmart and love it.
what’s wrong with craigslist or kijiji?
i bought the vast majority of my baby stuff off those sites, excepting the car seat and the crib mattress for obvious health and hygiene reasons.
I ordered my baby’s room furniture at "The Baby’s Room" store. They have a large selection and many good deals! I’m not sure if there is a store located in Wisconsin though. Best wishes!
If you are near Milwaukee, I would watch the JC Penny Outlet up in Timmerman Plaza as they will sometimes have baby cribs and furniture. Very quality stuff that they carry in their regular stores at a fraction of the price. It’s usually simply a catalog return with nothing at all wrong with it.
The JC Penny Furniture Outlet will also sometimes have things that again are simply returns. I can never remember what street it’s on, but it’s on the other side of I-45 (west side) across from the Wauwatosa Water Tower (east side).
Even if you only get a crib or one other piece from the outlet and then need to buy something else at another store, the savings overall should be significant.
I recently moved to Canada as I got married, but Milwaukee is my hometown. I was drooling over the gorgeous, expensive cribs that they carried and were selling for very cheap last time when I was in town and compared it to the ugly but serviceable one that I had at home (that cost me more).
i got a crib/dresser and changing table from walmart for $198 about 4 months ago

I highly suggest looking at furniture in baby stores to see what styles you like and then finding a comparable set at http://store.babycenter.com …We got our crib and changer for 1/3 of the price that Babies R Us and The Baby’s Room was charging.
Also, JC Penney is a good store to look.
