I decided to replace my son’s race car bed with a big boy bed either bunk bed or cute twin bed before doing the nursery so he doesn’t get jealous, I am not sure what is the best store to look at though? IKEA is fine for some of the decorating items but I refuse to have my son sleep on a flimsy floogtogen or whatever. I just want to make sure it doesn’t cost too much. I want to get a dark colored set for the nursery with a 3 in 1 style crib, any idea’s?????

We bought our baby’s furniture set a month or so ago. And I’m just so anxious to put it together! I want to see it. and to see the baby’s room look like a baby’s room! I am at the begining of 6 months pregnant. Our baby shower is in April sometime. Not exactly sure when, because my M-I-L is throwing one. I was going to wait until after the shower to put it together because were getting some of the bedroom set and were painting the room. and I figured we should just wait untill the room is painted. but if I put together like just the changing table then we can move it out of the room when its being painted. so nothing will get on it. lol. im just super excited. I dont know when to do all this. and I want to see one piece at least!

I’m having a c-section so i will be in the hospital for about 4 – 5 days so i guess she figures that will be enough time for my hubby, his father and my father to put everything together.

I am 12 weeks along and we are thinking about going to look at baby furniture this weekend. We have painted the room yellow because we don’t know the sex of the baby yet. I know we are going to have to go with light wood or white furniture because of the color of the walls. My question is if you think it would look okay if we did white furniture for a boy? The crib set we bought is neutral so it would match, just trying to figure out if people do a white crib for a boy?

I have two cats, about 8 months old and I’m having a baby in a few weeks. Right now, I live in a one bedroom apartment and I have to keep all my baby furniture and stuff in the dining room, so I can’t shut them out. My dad advised me to go ahead and set everything up so they could get used to it being there, and to start now teaching them to stay away.

I’ve tried everything, they are the weirdest cats EVER. They *like* aluminum foil and tape, they chew on it and have put holes in my pack-n-play trying to tear it off. I can’t find any tents for it, and I’m a little nervous about using chemicals on my baby stuff unless I know it’s reasonably safe.
I could get a super soaker for ninja and he’d just sit there and look offended while he was getting wetter. I’ll try the citrus oil though. =)

The website www.bedroomfurniture.com has a large assortment of bedroom furniture. I already bought some furniture for my bedroom: a white shutter queen size bed and white shutter dresser. But I think the dresser might not be enough space for my clothes so I’m thinking about getting an armoire or chest. The problem is that I can’t find one that matches the set I already purchased, except the baby furniture by StorkCraft. Some of the furniture would fit perfectly with my set, but I think it would seem weird buying baby furniture. What do you guys think?
